  • Candidates requiring pass in RACS Surgical Sciences examination for training selection.
  • Advanced trainees wishing to improve there anatomical knowledge and skills during
    their training and exit examination.
  • For those (including final year medical students) seeking selection to either surgery or radiology training.
Who can apply ?
  • Australian Medical or Dental Degree.
  • Final year Medical students.
  • International Medical Graduates.
Enrolment Tables involve 4 persons to working together as a team. No refund of fees for candidate withdrawal within 8 weeks of dissection course commencement. Otherwise withdrawals - $ 8,000 will be retained and not refunded.
Notes It is critical for all candidates to ensure leave is guaranteed to cover the 16 day dissection component of the course before enrollment.

Expression of interest
The course requires Pre-Course study, assignments and interactive teaching. Study content and assignments will be e-mailed to enrolled candidates.
Daily Routine
Visiting Specialist Surgeon/s or Radiologist/s teach at the dissection tables and/or deliver brief introductory pre-dissection regional anatomy lectures followed by dissection table teaching.
07:00 - 12:15 Morning Session 07:00 - 07:20 Tea, Espresso Coffee 07:30 - 08:00 Morning Dissection Session - Image Test. 08:30 - 09:00 Brief introductory lecture related to region to be dissected. 09:30 - 12:15 Dissection of specified region and dissection table teaching.
12:15 - 18:30 Afternoon Session 12:15 - 13:00 Lunch - provided + Tea; and Espresso Coffee etcetera. 13:00 - 13:30 Morning Dissection Session - Image Test. 13:30 - 14:00 Brief introductory lecture related to region to be dissected. 14:00 - 18:30 Dissection of specified region and dissection table teaching.
